The Afghanistan Crisis

More than 6 million people escaped Afghanistan by the end of 2021 when the Taliban seized control of the country. Many Afghans and the U.S. representatives, who helped Afghanistan, desperately evacuated when the Taliban took control with harmful ruling practices. Women and children were threatened, mistreated, oppressed, and intimidated under the Taliban's rule and needed to flee the country to protect themselves from being trapped in poverty and danger. In partnership with UNICEF and your support, we raised $450 to help Afghans flee this threatening environment and helped them retrieve basic needs to start over.
