As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Ava is AAUF’s food and nutrition expert. Her experience in community hospitals and elementary schools in low-income neighborhoods has furthered her desire to help others and ensure all are living healthy and wholesome lives. 

 

In 2014, Ava spent time in Guatemala where she helped build a church for a community that lived in a landfill. After seeing homes literally built out of waste, Ava’s heart was cracked open and she knew she wanted to do everything in her power to ensure all people’s basic needs were met.  

 

Volunteering at organizations like The Humane Society and Urban Angels, Ava was elated to be a part of AAUF who serves both human and animal causes.
