Imagine a world without elephants. A world devoid of their majestic presence, their gentle intelligence, and their profound connection to the earth. Sadly, this is a reality we face today. Poaching, habitat destruction, and humans exploiting them for entertainment are pushing these magnificent creatures to the brink and endangering their overall well-being and survival. AAUF believes that it’s our responsibility to protect and preserve these gentle giants that God has gifted us.
Join us for a day of golf at Pelican Hill Golf Course, not just for the sport, but to raise awareness and vital funds to help elephants and preservation efforts. The day will be filled with an exciting round of golf at one of the top golf course destinations in the world, quality drinks & food, memorable games & contests on course, and followed by a dinner after party. Together, we can make a difference for these sentient beings. Let’s tee off for a cause that matters 🏌️

The Cause
It is heartbreaking that elephants, some of the most intelligent and emotionally complex creatures on Earth, are often subjected to cruel treatment in the entertainment industry. These majestic animals are forced to endure harsh training methods, confinement, and unnatural conditions to perform for human amusement. From circuses to tourist attractions, elephants are often beaten, starved, or restrained to make them submissive, stripping them of their dignity and freedom. This abuse leaves not only physical scars but also deep psychological trauma, robbing them of the rich social lives they would naturally enjoy in the wild.
On top of the cruelty in captivity, elephants face a grave threat in the wild: poaching. These magnificent animals are being hunted for their ivory, driving them to the brink of extinction. Despite international bans on ivory trade, poaching continues, fueled by demand and organized crime. This senseless killing not only endangers the species but also disrupts entire ecosystems, as elephants play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of their habitats. Without urgent action to stop poaching and protect elephants, future generations may never experience these incredible creatures in the wild.
